Monster Blood Types

ARBORA
Monsters of this category are those who are made up of plant or fungal material.  Species are widely ranged, and are comparable to tree, mold, cacti, and seaweed.  It is thought that many Arbora monster may not have been identified yet due to their unparallelled ability to blend in with their environments.  All monsters of this blood type share the plant or fungus visage, though they do often have mouths, eyes, and limbs - allowing them to behave more akin to animals.  Some species live exclusively as flora, though luckily no breeds reproduce to the sheer number of the millions, as true plants sometimes do.  Some Arboras are carnivorous, where others tend to be herbivores themselves; though there is a grey area here where one may question where "herbivore" is blurred into "carnivore" should the Arbora monster in question be hunting other Arboras.

AVIAN
Birdlike.  These monsters can vary greatly in size and appearance, though all species have beaks or bills without teeth, and all have feathers - however many.  All Avians have at least four limbs, two of which are always wings - though they may be flightless.  The subgroups are:
Bird: Closely resemble common birds, in that they have two feathered wings and two legs.
Kite: Similar to the regular 'Bird' species, save for the wings are made up of a long finger bone and webbing - giving the Avian a kite-like appearance in flight.
Hex-limb: Like the Dragon subgroup, Hex-limbed Avians have six limbs, where at least two are wings.
Like many monster types, Avians are not exclusively predatory nor grain-eating.  They range from monstrous carnivorous raptors, to nectar-feeding finch-like creatures.

BEAST
Many Beasts are often confused with Pygmy blood types, as Beasts are sometimes similar in appearance, though they grow to be much larger than even the largest Pygmy.  Decidedly mammalian, Beasts have live young, and females' ability to produce milk has yet to be challenged.  Beasts are sometimes simplistic in nature compared to other monsters, as some species can be confused with the common animal.  Their subgroups range from predatory to herbivore, though it is to be noted that all Beast blood types are quadruped, regardless of foot structure and environment.  Not a rule, most of the plant-based diet Beasts are larger than the carnivorous cousins.

DRAGON
Dragons are predominantly reptilian or bird-boned monsters.  All adult dragons exceed  6'/182.8cm in height, and 10'/304.8cm in length, and 200lbs/90.7kgs.  The subgroups of Dragons follows:
Hyren: Any four-limbed, yet wingless dragon.  The species may walk on all four or on two.
Wyvern: Any four-limbed species where at least two of the limbs are wings (may or may not be flightless)
Hex-limb: A six-limbed species where at least two of the limbs are wings. (may or may not be flightless)
Wyrm: A species with only two limbs, may or may not be wings.
No Dragons possess feathers, though some have fur.  Most members of this blood type are uncommon to rare in the wild.

FAIRY
Fairies are small, humanoid monsters that stand at no taller than 6'/182.8cm in height and weigh less than 200lbs/90.7kgs. Most are much smaller.  All Fairy species have jointed, sometimes insect-like wings, though they may be flightless.  Not to be confused with Pygmy monsters, as Fairies all stand upright and use their forelimbs identically to humans.  Fairies in general do not stray far from the visage of simians, though some appear to our likeness more than others.  Subgroups include:
Simian: monkey or humanoid in appearance, usually on the larger side of the blood type.
Brute: Still on the larger side of the Fairy family, many of this group do not closely resemble humans; often hairy and flightless.  Not necessarily physically powerful, as the name suggests appearance only.
Pixie: Often very small with delicate features and large wings. Most of these species do not favor walking and are airborne most of the time.

GIANT
Giants are decidedly mammalian monsters that are seen with 4-6 limbs, walking upright on at least two.  Most species have fur, but it is not the rule.  The minimum size of any Giant breed is 12'/365.7cm tall, and 300lbs/136kgs.  The subgroups of Giants are:
Ape: Possessing features strongly resembling humans and/or simians.
Bestial: Species with animal features; typically sporting bovine, ursine, or other large therian characteristics that do not fall into the Ape category.  They always have tusks or horns.
Grotesque: Not entirely named for an unpleasant appearance, they are named after the old world "gothic" statuesque
Goliath: Usually much larger than other subgroups, they often resemble no living animal specifically - rather, they can appear to be "made out of" their native elements or surroundings; for that, they are always hairless.  Many Equirans also call this category "Gargoyle" or "Ogre."
Giants do not have wings or feathers on their bodies. Some species have short tails.  Most species are uncommon to rare in the wild.

MACHINE
A curious blood type, Machine monsters often appear to be made by human hands - though they are born and and die just as any other monster.  Their organic metallic hides are not the same metals found in the earth, so often many species are inaccurately named for their resemblance.  There is unlimited variation to this blood types appearance, as species range from resembling quadruped, flying, swimming, and digging animals and even tools.  By rule, all Machine monsters have the metallic hide or shell somewhere on their bodies.  Their skeletons, which range from exo to endo type, are exceptionally strong and also resemble metal of various kinds.

NECRO
A strange blood type that loans its name from resembling the deceased or dying.  There is little to describe the large variation of appearances that this type possesses, but the general subgroups are:
Ghost: Having an astral or non-solid body, spectral.
Zombie: Appear to be falling apart or have substance to their form that is of questionable usability - nonetheless, they seem to be fine.
Bones: Having little flesh, many wonder how these monsters move or survive, but their gaunt frames move as ably as any meaty beast.
The subgroups are useful up until one encounters a monster that resembles all three and then more, which is highly possible.  All Necro types, though appearing dead, or at least on the door to death, are quite alive and are hardy survivors in most biomes.

PISCES
Monsters of this type can be said to resemble fish or aquatic life.  All species in the Pisces family have gills and at least some form of fin on their bodies - regardless to their natural environment.  There is massive variation in the blood type, and can be hard to narrow down into subgroups.  Some appear very akin to the average fish - in having no limbs and only fins and a tail to propel themselves, to cephalopodic multi-limbed creatures, and any combination of the two.  Not all Pisces are found in water bodies, though their movement and behavior all suggest something rather fishy.

PYGMY
Pygmy monsters are, as their name suggests, smaller than most other blood types.  The size of any Pygmy species does not exceed 6'/182.8cm in height, or 10'/304.8cm in length, or 200lbs/90.7kgs.  All Pygmy monsters possess both mammal and herptile features, to varying degrees; all have at least some fur.  Some resemble more cold-blooded than warm-blooded animals, and vice versa.  This group of monsters all have at least two limbs, but do not exceed four total; they may be bipedal or quadruped.  Some species have rather vestigial limbs of little use.  Pygmies range from common to rare in the wild.

SECTID
These monsters are a massive group that range from resembling insects, arachnids, and even crustaceans.  The environment of individual species dictates body type and mobility, though all Sectids have exoskeletons and jointed legs like their animal kin.  Another blood type that boasts too many in number to accurately sort into subgroups, many Equirans will simply state "crawly, fly, biting, all." As the monsters in question are sometimes able to do what only some beetles and lobsters dream of. But in the most basic groups:
Insectoid: Six-legged; resembling land insects, regardless of the monsters' habitat.
Arachnoid: Eight-legged; resembling spider, scorpion, and other arachnids.
Crustoid: Sectids that resemble crab, lobster, prawn, or any other crustacean.
Centi-podal: Though meaning "100 feet," the Sectids of this category tend to have anywhere from 10+ legs, and a long, mult-segmented body.
As well as possessing exoskeletons, all species have antennae and are egg-laying, yellow-blooded monsters.

XENO
Arguably the most confusing and difficult to categorize, the Xeno blood types are monsters that have almost no resemblance to any true animal.  Their bodies may be amorphic, slimey, frilled, or even multi-headed.  Some say that this group was put together to simply bunch the most bizarre monsters together to be done with it.  Not to be confused with Sectids ever, Xenos do not have the exoskeletons that the buggy monsters do; in fact, some Xeno species do not possess skeletons at all.  Again, being the most bizarre blood type in Equira, simple subgroups are impossible to make.  One happy coincidence that all these creatures seem to share is their actual blood is bright neon blue.  Most scientists are unwilling to poke a wild monster to simply see the color of its blood however, so some species remain questionably typed.
I made a master-post wall of text that actually describes the 12 Blood Types of monsters in Equira.. enjoy??
Apologies for typos that I am too lazy to look for myself.

I noticed that you replaced the virus type with xeno. Honestly, that makes a lot more sense.
